HELLO BLOG! I AM BACK FROM JAPAN, since two days ago though, haha!
i shall blog bout japan trip cuz it's too fun and interesting already. luckily that time my dad last min changed his mind by letting me go japan, if not i will miss out so many things! and i shall upload the pics aft 21st dec, when i finally get to go back my own sweet hougang home and use my new laptop! whee~.
7th dec:
um, the departure day? haha. we're made to reach airport like 5 hrs before the flight, sheesh. took many photos and slacked the whole time before checking in. once again, me and sy failed taking the jumping-to-point-at-the-word-nagoya-on-the-tv photo. haha. and since it's the midnight plane, i was super tired. the rashes med made me even drowsy so i slept throughout the whole flight. the air-stewardess didnt give me, clare and xuan any snacks cuz all of three of us're sleeping, so she skipped us. sheesh. and i think i slept like a pig. i only woke up when my batchies called me to see the sunrise. hah.
DAY 1, 8th dec:
finally arrived at nagoya airport. we thought it will be cold but to our suprise, it's not that cold afterall. so i didnt take out my thick spyder winter clothing. went to our first sightseeing destination, nagoya castle. we tried the ice soda and green tea drinks. the ice soda made me feel like bubbling hah. the crows're like super big and scary, it produced sounds that're similar to an eagle la! and they zoomed past right in front of me! sheesh. and there's this cat which's fat and big! seriously why are all the animals in japan big and fat and scary? anw, me and sh took an 'illegal' photos of the swords and daggers displayed in the castle! haha it said 'no flash photography' so we din use flash so is that still considered illegal? hah.
then we went to the next sightseeing place, nagashima spaland! nahh it's not a spa place, but it's an amusement park. we're all fascinated when we saw the 97m roller coaster ride frm afar. hah. it's too big and steep, so i refused to take it. in the end no one took it, except this percussionist jnr i think. hah. nagashima spaland it's super nice! the sec 4s clarinettists and hornists went together, since our ahhem jnrs pao qi us. hah. we took our first ride, cork screw, which's supposed to be our warm up ride for the 97m ride initially haha. the ride was so dangerous that wy hit her ear and all of us felt that we're gg to fly out of the roller coaster, but it's not scary at all la. then we went to take viking. met the french horn jnrs and saxophonists. the french horn jnrs're alr screaming when the ship jst started moving. and hy's so bang4! she actually took out a camera to take a video! haha but she stopped when the ship turned almost vertical. it's so exciting! after that, wy and sh felt sick after the viking, so aud, hy and xuan wanted to go take the 97m ride. while me, jy and clare wanted to wait for them before taking the white cyclone. haha xuan was so funny! she said she wanted to take the 97m ride, and then after a few secs, we saw her running back, saying she din want to take cuz it's too scary. in the end, hy and aud din take the 97m ride too. so all of us went to take white cyclone! oh my it's so nice! me and my fellow ride partner, jy, had this same reaction when the roller coaster goes down. haha. it's like we opened our legs wide, and when the roller coaster stopped gg down, we closed our legs. haha. and they took a picture during the ride. hy and aud looked super calm, me and jy looked weird, so did clare and xuan! and some of my jnrs looked scared in the photo. haha after the ride, we took a victory jumping photo, and everyone jumped in that photo! finally a success photo! hah.
then we had lunch at this hamburger shop. 300 yen for a hamburger, and it's super nice! tried ppl's different flavours milkshakes, and they're all very nice! so different frm s'pore! and then we still had these free 100 and 200 yen coupons. we din want to waste it, so me, hy, aud and jy went to the haunted house. OH MY, that haunted house's the scariest one i've been in my entire life! it's all geishas one la! jy was so funny, we jst started our trip into the house, and there's this door meant for staff la, then she thought it's part of the haunted house trap, so she went to open it and scared herself. haha. but seriously it's very scary! there's this couple behind us and then cuz we walked too fast, we dont see them anymore. my side was suay! i kept seeing all the horrifying scenes. hence i freaked out and it's super dark inside so i freaked out even more. hy was practically dragging me hah. seriously hy looked very calm! wahh without her, i could have jst died inside the haunted house, and like what aud said, we'll sit inside the house and cry haha. jy and aud were behind us. according to aud, hy suddenly stopped at this point, and aud thought it's something that suddenly popped out infront of her, so she screamed like siao haha. the journey inside the haunted house seemed very long. we're like 'how come still not out yet!' haha. after that we left nagashima spaland. so yi1 yi1 bu4 she3. hah.
we went to nabana no sato, according to the brochure, it's a village overflowing with flowers. haha yeah the flowers're so nice. i purposely took a picture of the bouquet of lily flowers to show my mum! haha and i kept telling sh they used music therapy for the flowers. (: ohh and there's hot spring! it's super shuang! at first my feet couldnt take it cuz it's too hot, after that, it's like i felt so refreshed. nice! took many photos here again. hah.
went back to al plaza tsusima hotel. had rehearsal after dinner. which's super tiring that i almost slept during combine. and my section had to use the 18-ppl room. public bathing! gosh. this first night public bathing was so amusing! everybody was bathing, so by the time we could bathe, it's 1050pm. suddenly sia came in and told us the hot water supply will end at 11pm. so we're banging the door to ask sh and wy, who were inside then, to hurry bathe. by the time we got in we jst ahhem bathe? clare and xuan saw everything! sheesh. sia saw clare's red panty! haha. gosh this first day bathing was so embarassing and amusing! when we came out, they told us the hot water thingy delayed till 11.30pm. so if we didnt rush, maybe things will turn out better! haha.
DAY 2, 9th dec:
full day of rehearsal and public performance with aichi meiden high sch and mj. um yeah the songs they played are nice! and the japan ppl're cool! the gimmicks were like woah super nice. haha. and there's this japan girl sitting next to me, she looks innocent and cute. so the thirds made a pact to make friend with her the next day during the exchange. hah yes nothing else to elaborate on performance yeah. then after that dinner, and public bathing again. this time it's the sec 4s bathing together. that includes all clarinettists except aud HAH, hornists, and sax. though there're 8 ppl bathing, but it's so much better than the day before when i bathed with clare and xuan. haha. we off the light so we couldnt see anything. hah. jy was the first to go in, but the last to come out. sheesh man.
DAY 3, 10th dec:
exchange with aichi meiden high sch! while waiting for the meiden ppl to prepare, we took photos. that includes the bathing grp! hah yes i got to know my japan standpartner! haha she's called ayumi and she wore specs that day so i couldnt recognise, except deborah haha. gosh i love their combine. and the lunch session was so interesting. we self-introed ourself and i know mine was very retarded. cuz when they asked me what's my hobby, i jst said sleeping and eating haha. alexa was funny too. she told her standpartner that toru (or how you spell it, but that's how you pronounced it haha) is handsome. haha. and of course, before we left, i took a pic with ayumi! i miss her! and toru gave alexa a flying kiss and we went woah. haha. but somehow aft she heard abt toru and hsinyu and when sia made fun of hsinyu by saying mrs toru, alexa was so angry. hah. that's funny. ohh last day in nagoya, took pic of the public bathroom and the 18-ppl room. the sec 4s clarinettists agreed that after this 18-ppl room thingy, we're close to the sec 2s and 3s somehow haha. so thankyou for arranging 18ppl to sleep together. (: and i influenced almost everyone in the sect to shit! haha. see thank me man. (:
DAY 4, 11th dec:
took a bullet train, sinkasen, to tokyo. we saw mount fuji! and they said if you're able to see mount fugi, you're super lucky, and that's very true. will blog after this. yupp. took a bus to nakamise shopping street. shopping day! yes finally i bought the seaweed thingy for my aunts. haha aud spent alot there can. she nearly bought a 35 bucks earrings la! sheesh. and clare bought her kwon sang woo calender that costs 21 bucks! haha after that we went to ueno park. that's when hy realised she lost her wallet. and we're all scared that we looked aft our things even more. i tried to 'pickpocket' ppl to see if they're alert. and i 'pickpocketed' sy twice and she said she couldnt feel it. GOSH. haha.bought sweets in the supermarket and went back hotel after that. by then hy was alr okay, and she even joked that she got to go to another sightseeing place, which is the police station haha. and guess what. the police said her wallet's found! see what i mean by if you're able to see mount fuji you're super lucky! then it's like hy went to me and aud's room and she was um-chio-ing and she told us bout her found wallet. haha. i swear there's sth wrong with our room! we couldnt boil water, and even if we put high for air conditioner, there's no aircon! so it was very stuffy. hah. called many prank calls to other room ppl and we had fun (: clare and xuan's room was the messiest out of the 3 sec 4 clarinettists room. hah. ohh and i called to my china home. could tell that my mum's shocked to receive my call. and it's like i bought the 1 min card. so i was telling my mum that if the line got cut off, then suan le. so we're talking rubbish on the phone haha.
DAY 5, 12th dec:
whole day at tokyo disneyland! i love disneyland! hardly see any other tk ppl in disneyland, so very little photos taken with the other sec4s. yes i only took 2 pictures with brina! see that BAD haha. but it's fun. we took many rides! the characters in the pirates of the caribbean looked super real! and out of all the rides, my first rated ride's the big thunder mountain! ha we took twice and wanted to go on the third ride when it had to break down. AWW. yes. i love disneyland! shall upload the disneyland pics soon cuz it's very hard to describe using words. haha. (: after that we went to the hotel supermarket. bought sushis and cupnoodles. and we partied at clare and xuan's room once again. haha.
DAY 6, 13th dec:
HAPPY 12th BIRTHDAY DWAYNE CHOY! haha yes i used quek's phone to send him a msg. he did see it but refused to reply back. performed and exchanged with katakura high sch. it's said that they're better than meiden, but to me it looks like a neighbourhood sch kind. i dont really like their school cuz of the audience. can you believe there's this guy with black long earrings, taking out his shoes and smell them! and deborah saw a girl with a bao1 alike clip sleeping throughout the whole performance. and after we performed for their assembly, there's this guy piggy-backed this girl. like ahhem, want to show us that you two are couples huh. sheesh. but the katakura band ppl're so different! they're nice and polite! and sheesh. i forgot my standpartner's name! haha whoever rmbr tell me! yes she's nice! their actions're so funny! sy's funny! when everybody stopped doing the gimmicks, she still cont doing. we SAW LOR. haha. yes and the exchange was super short, maybe arnd 30 mins? yea. and their slippers are so slippery. so many ppl fell and spoilt/dented their instrus. sad sad. ohh leung said sth funny. she said she saw me as a medicine! haha cuz we two had to take medicine everyday, so it's like we will remind each other. but that did not mean i am a medicine! HAH. sheesh.
after katukura we went to sunshine city plaza shopping mall after dinner la haha. by the time we reached there, the shops are closing. saw this teddy bear shop! gosh it's so cute! it's as if you're really keeping a real pet. got all the pet's things. alot of jnrs went to buy it. we wanted to buy too, but the shop is closing so no choice. haha. and we partied again, at clare/xuan's room ONCE AGAIN. it's alw in their room man.
DAY 7, 14th dec:
whole day at tokyo disneysea! yes we din manage to take the tower of terror, cuz it stopped working when we wanted to take it! so sad la. so my fav ride was the journey to the center of the earth. reminded me of geog stuffs la. like the mantle, core, crust etc. sheesh. it's so exciting! haha and we took many other rides. once again, i shall upload the disneysea pics soon. haha. but it's raining that day. i realised it alw rained when we went sightseeing like disneyland and disneysea. hy's my umbrella partner! haha then clare shared umbrella with us, and they're snatching for my umbrella to cover themselves, so i was slightly drenched, and i ran to share with jy and sh instead. haha. and i was so sad when i din buy any stuff yet. other than the 100yen coins thingy. it's only until i went to the last shop, i shopped like mad. saw this big goofy toy which's so nice. i regretted buying the small goofy for my brother at disneyland, cuz disneysea stuffs are nicer. haha. and there's fireworks which're super nice! and i was sick due to drenched thingy. everyone said i looked super sick la. they wanted to party without me! sheesh, but anw they partied at my room. haha. i was so sick that i said wrong things like mee-tai-mak! and i forgot what stuff. sheesh. and that day was the posting result. could tell wy was sad she got into tj. and i realised there's a pattern. those who couldnt get into vj went tj, those couldnt get into tj went mj, those couldnt get into mj went tp. sheesh. alot of ppl went mj! (: i want to know the cutoff for each sch! it's weird that some 5 pointer couldnt get into vj! or worse,according to daniel, someone who scored 7-4=3 couldnt get into rj! sheesh. ohh and the whole night, after they left our room, me and aud were talking bout ahhem. and she was complaining that she's gg to suffer in tj concert haha.
DAY 8, 15th dec:
last day in japan! and i am well again! i dont feel sick anymore. (: i watched many movies on the plane. haha. at changi airport when we're gg to leave, and when xuan started hugging us, i was bout to tear la. at that point of time i was thinking 'oh my we're sec4s alr. this's the last time we will be in tkgssb. and after this day, we will go to different jcs, and we wun meet each other that often' yes it's so sad la. we mst meet up, even aft we go to different jcs kay!
and my oldest aunt was so funny. she puked when she smells my stinky socks. i din know it was that bad la. haha.
yepp. i miss japan now. everyone does too. and yest was the tj's concert. the alumni band was really great. haha. and we finally saw thru sy! cuz i saw my p6 friend at the concert, and he was talking to me. and then sy said sth like few years down the road, if she sees us, she will jst say hi and wun talk to us, in other words dao us. haha me and brina made a pact that we will talk to each other still, unlike sy haha! yes 18s shall go out on the 18th! (: haha.
